April 1st, 2025 at the age of 82It is with both profound sorrow and heartfelt celebration that we commemorate the life of Jeane Avilla, born February 9th, 1943, and departed from us on April 1st, 2025. Jeane was not just a beloved family member and friend, but a vibrant presence in every life she touched. Her adventurous spirit and talented hands left a trail of beauty and warmth wherever she ventured.
Jeane was a woman of many passions. Her adventurous nature led her to travel extensively in her motor home, exploring the vast corners of our beautiful nation and beyond. She was a talented quilter, her hands creating intricate tapestries of color and texture that reflected her love for life. A lover of Bluegrass music, Jeane's soul was a well-tuned instrument that played the sweetest melody of every moment. Equally talented in the kitchen, Jeane had a knack for cooking that could transform any meal into a feast of flavors. Her crafty creativity turned everyday objects into works of art, subtly imbuing her surroundings with her unique touch. As Helen Keller once said, "Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing at all," and Jeane lived her life by this ethos, turning every moment into an opportunity for exploration and discovery. Jeane was also a pilot and enjoyed flying with her Husband.
What mattered most to Jeane, however, was being a devoted wife to her loving husband, Christopher Avilla, and a caring mother to her sons.
Jeane's life was a beautiful quilt of moments, stitched together with love, laughter, and her unique zest for life. She was an adventurous explorer, a talented artist, a music aficionada, a culinary magician, and above all, a devoted wife. She is survived by her Husband Christopher and sons, James and John Harrison and 3 grandchildren.
