Robert McPherson

Robert J. McPherson, 59, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025, at his home.

Bobby was born March 18, 1966, in Burlington, Iowa. He was the son of Barbara (Bowling) and Greg McPherson. He married Tammy Ping and later married Stephanie Davis; both marriages ended in divorce.

Bobby was a jack-of-all-trades, skilled in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and nearly anything he was asked to do-he could do it. Over the years, he worked for many different businesses throughout Iowa and Arizona.

He loved cooking for his parents, watching NASCAR, attending and working at 34 Raceway, and fishing on the Mississippi River.

Survivors include his parents, Barbara and Greg McPherson; his brother, Brandon McPherson; his son, Gregory Connolly; his granddaughter, Shawna Connolly; his paternal grandmother, Joan McPherson; two nephews; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lawrence Bowling and Mary "Patty" (Powell) Koval; his step-grandfather, Robert Koval; his paternal grandfather, Ed McPherson; and his ex-wife, Stephanie Davis.

Cremation has been entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.

There will be no formal services. A private burial will be held at Bazel Cemetery in Burlington, Iowa, at a later date.
