Jeanette H. Arnold, 80, of Westlake passed away, Thursday, November 28, 2024, at a local hospital. She was a native of Johnson Bayou and lived in the Sulphur area for over fifty years. Jeanette liked to deer hunt and was an avid cookbook collector. She loved working with her handicapped clients at her job she had for many years. Jeanette was very proud of her cajun heritage and spent many hours dancing to french music on the backporch with her husband. She loved to cook for her family. Her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids were her pride and joy.
Those left to cherish Jeanette's memory are her sister, Shirly H. Doucet; daughter, Melanie Arnold Kratzer and husband Robert of Jennings; four sons, Ronnie Arnold and wife Liz of Westlake, Lance Arnold and wife Lisa of Brownsville, TN., Chad Arnold and wife Nikki of Sulphur, Brad Arnold and Mandy Busby of Munford, TN.; 20 grandchildren, and 28 great grandchildren.
Jeanette is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Arnold; son, Perry "Bubba" Arnold; parents, Evelyn Fontenot and Honore Hebert; and 13 siblings.
In lieu of flowers the family request that you donate to purchase Bibles for outreach. Donation envelopes will be provided by the funeral home and be available during visitation.
A funeral service for Jeanette will be held at 3 PM, on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur. The family will receive guests on Sunday from 10 AM until time of service. Words of comfort may be left for the family at www.johnsonfuneralhome.net.
