It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George David Tingle, born April 6, 1949, in Natchitoches, Louisiana. George lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and deep love for his family. A proud pipe-fitter supervisor, George built more than structures throughout his career - he built respect, trust, and lasting friendships. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady leadership, and the pride he took in providing for those he loved. Outside of his profession, George was famously known as a beef jerky maker, a craft he perfected and generously shared with family and friends. His jerky wasn't just a snack - it was a symbol of his care and tradition. Above all, George was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Mary Jane Tingle, who survives him. Together they built a beautiful legacy that spans generations. He was the proud father of six children, grandfather to eighteen grandchildren, and great-grandfather to twenty-four great-grandchildren. His family was his greatest accomplishment and his deepest joy. Those who knew George will remember his strength, his quiet wisdom, and the steady presence he brought into every room. His life leaves a lasting imprint on all who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of his family and friends. Funeral services for George will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur on Friday, March, 06, 2026 at 3 PM. Visitation will start earlier Friday at 12 PM. Come help honor the life of George.
