Graveside Service will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024 in Boyd Cemetery. Pastor Terry Terry will officiate. Family will receive friends Friday 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.
Jeanette was born on October 4, 1959 in Azle, Texas to Herman Youngblood and Doris Ruth (Smith) Elliott. She was an accountant and a devoted homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family. Jeanette was united in marriage to Thomas "Randy" Garrett on April 19, 1980 in Colleyville.
She was preceded in death by her fathers, Herman Youngblood and Howard D. Elliott; and her brothers, Ronnie Breedan and Tommy Elliott.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Thomas "Randy" Garrett of Boyd; her mother, Doris Ruth Elliott; her son, Justin Garrett and wife Crystal of Boyd; her daughter, Tami Jo Barton and husband Aaron of Boyd; her grandchildren, Cherish Sales, Faith Garrett, Hope Garrett, Allison Jo Barton, and Hannah Barton; her sisters, Vicki Reeves, Pamela Porter, and Debbie VanDerBom; her brothers, Danny Youngblood and Don Breeden; many cousins, nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
