Jeanette Dowden Langridge Kaub

1932 - 2024

Jeanette Dowden Langridge Kaub, a native of Provencal, LA and a resident of Port Allen, LA, passed away at her home on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the age of 91. She retired as a high school business/typing teacher. She was a former member of Florida Blvd. Baptist Church. She discovered her talent as an artist in her 60's and painted dozens of beautiful pictures. She also loved working in her yard and flower beds. She loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland A. Langridge, Jr.; parents, Harold W. Dowden and Edna Middleton Dowden; and sister, Rita Jacqueline Kennedy. She is survived by her children, Kasandra D. Langridge, Kelli Langridge Hebert, and Leland A. Langridge, III; grandchildren, Nathan J. Merritt and Danielle M. Gaudet; and 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Joey Beeson. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
