Jeanette Louise Miller, 77, of Wooster, Ohio passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Burbank Parke Care Center after a period of declining health.
Jeanette was born on April 17, 1948 in Anamosa, Iowa to Merle W. and Rosalia (Gorius) Paul. On Aug. 1, 1969 she married Douglas Bruce Miller and he preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 2020. She had been a hairdresser in Napa, California before becoming a Certified Nurses Aide having worked at the Yountville Veterans Home in California and later at the Pioneer Home in Anchorage, Alaksa where she and Bruce had made their home from 1981 – 2007. In 2007 they moved to Rittman, Ohio and later to Wooster. Jeanette enjoyed doing crafts and she and Bruce both loved to cook and together they had written their own cookbook.
She is survived by children, Brian Miller of Wooster, Brenda and her husband Tim Fairchild of Wadsworth, Brett and his wife Bonni of Rittman and Will and his wife Coco of North Canton; grandchildren Jonathan (Yuna) Miller, Nathaniel Miller, Nicole (David) Neuman-Nusinow, Christina Miller, Kimberly Fredericks, Hillary (Nate) Gilkerson, Axel Miller and Gage (Sierra) Miller; 14 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Einerson, Lois Shane, and Virginia Brown and a brother John Paul.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce and brothers, Richard Paul and David Paul.
A service of interment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
