Jeanne Marie Gerla, a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother, left this world on September 1, 2025, in Mathis, Texas. Born on May 29, 1976, in Sinton, Texas, her journey through life was marked by her infectious laughter and a love that enveloped her family and friends alike.
For many years, Jeanne dedicated herself as a store clerk, a role in which she not only contributed to her community but also shared her remarkable sense of humor, becoming a beacon of joy for those around her. Her ability to uplift spirits and create smiles made her beloved at work and within her family. Jeanne's laughter echoed through her home, thanks to her unyielding love for her children and grandchildren, whom she treasured deeply.
Jeanne is survived by her two children, Jasmine (Eddie) Garcia and Jose (Brittany) Aguero III, who brought her immense pride and joy. The bond she shared with her grandchildren, Eden, Zariah, Azaelia, and Jioni, illuminated her life. She was not only a grandmother but a source of unwavering support, guiding them with warmth and affection. Jeanne also leaves her memories to her loving parents, Rocky and Karen Gerla, and her brother, Franklin Gerla. The love they shared was profound, filling their lives with shared memories and laughter, even in the most trying times.
Jeanne reunites in eternity with her her beloved husband, Jose Aguero Jr.; maternal grandparents, Lester and Margie Bradfute; and paternal grandparents, Joe and Juarez Gerla, who surely awaited her with open arms. Their spirits, now together, remind us of the enduring connections that transcend both time and space.
As we celebrate Jeanne's life, we hold close the memories of her vibrant personality, her laughter that echoed in all our hearts, and the love she radiated so generously. She will forever remain a beloved presence in our lives, inspiring us to cherish each moment and find joy, just as she did.
