Jeanne Hallum, 93, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 in Albert Lea, MN. A memorial service will be held at 1pm on Monday, December 30, 2024 at the Ascension Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, MN. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, with burial following at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pastor Mark Boorsma will be officiating.
Jeanne was born on June 12, 1931 to Ira and Charlotte Grove in Albert Lea, MN. She married Roger Hallum on October 23, 1954 at the First Lutheran Church in Albert Lea, MN.
Jeanne favorite activities were participating in the Birthday Club, and going to Herbergers and Leutholds. She was proud of her rose bushes and petunias she kept in planters at her house. Many fond memories were made of their summer vacation trips all across the United States, including Disney World, Disney Land, the St. Louis Arch, Six Flags, and Opryland. She looked forward to when the family would go out to eat at various restaurants and share stories.
Jeanne is survived in death by her daughter Linda (Bob) Korman and their children Jesse and Cody Korman; her son Doug (Tammy) Hallum and their children Angela (Daniel) Brown, Justin (Jackie) Jahnke, and Tanner Haberman.
Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband Roger; daughter Joanne; and siblings Margie Damen, Richard Grove, Robert Grove, Beverly Grove, and Babe Grove.
The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice and Good Samaritan for their care.
