Jeanne Marie Johnson, age 76, of New Haven, passed away February 26, 2026, at The Cedars in Leo. Jeanne was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on June 3, 1949, to the late Elmer G. Hoevel and Louise Frances (David) Osmun. She graduated from New Haven High School and went onto college and completed an associate degree. She married Charles Clifton Johnson on August 6, 1971, in Fort Wayne and he preceded her in death on June 27, 1997.

Survivors include:
Son, Cory and Chelsea Johnson of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Jennifer Johnson of Pompano Beach, Florida.
Son, Chad and Sonia Johnson of Brooklyn, New York.
Three grandchildren: Aysia Reeves of Pompano Beach, Florida; Karter Johnson and Kamryn Johnson both of Fort Wayne.
Long time companion, Steve Parnin of Fort Wayne.
Sister, Roberta and Rex Allen of Muncie.

Visitation and funeral service will take place Friday, March 6, 2026, at First Baptist Church of New Haven, 1716 Werling Road, New Haven, Indiana 46774. Visitation will begin at 2:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
Burial will take place next to her husband at a later date at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Decatur, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of New Haven.
