Jeanne LoPriore Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Joseph J Smith Funeral Home Inc on Sep. 4, 2024.
Jeanne V. LoPriore of Carmel, NY passed away on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the age of 49 after fighting a courageous 4 year battle with colon cancer. She was born in Yonkers, NY on February 12, 1975, the daughter of William and Joan (Lasky) Duschaneck.
Jeanne attended Marywood College for one year, and then proceeded to receive her bachelor's degree in graphic design from Pace University. Jeanne was a graphic designer, a craft she truly enjoyed, at Club Fit in Jefferson Valley, NY. She was a member of The Catholic Daughters of America, Fr. John P. Mooney Council of St. John the Evangelist Church in Mahopac. Jeanne was very patriotic and served in the Auxiliaries of both VFW Post 5491 and American Legion Post 1080 in Mahopac.
What gave Jeanne the greatest joy was raising her daughter and son and spending time with her beloved family. She enjoyed traveling and even got to take a trip to Paris, France with her father and daughter and enjoyed many cruises. Her most recent adventure was a trip to Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon in Arizona. She also enjoyed quick getaways to the Jersey Shore and Lake George, NY, often on a moment's notice.
On May 29, 2004 she married Michael LoPriore at St. John the Evangelist Church. In addition to Michael, she is survived by her daughter, Madeline and son, Michael; her mother, Joan Duschaneck and her brother, William. She was predeceased by her father, William Duschaneck on September 6, 2022.
Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, September 6 from 4-8 pm at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 7 at 10 am at St. John the Evangelist Church, Mahopac. Private cremation services will follow.
