Jeanne Helen (Desmarais) Mnoholitny, 82, of Hubbardston, died peacefully Sunday, November 26, 2023, surrounded by family after a brief illness.
Born in Gardner on May 22, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Sylvia E.(Risatti) Desmarais. She graduated from Gardner High School in 1960. Jeanne worked for many years in quality control for Flexcon Manufacturing until her retirement.
Jeanne was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, practicing at its Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Golden Agers of Hubbardston. Jeanne loved shopping and going out with her girlfriends. She also enjoyed trips to the beach, but her favorite thing to do was spend time with her beloved husband, Dick.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 34 years, Richard “Dick” Mnoholitny of Hubbardston; one son, Rick and his wife Karen of Westminster; two daughters, Jill Keenan and her husband Dan of Southwick, and Jennifer Delaney of Agawam; five grandchildren, Jack, Caroline, RJ, Matty, & Sean; one great-grandchild, Freddy; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by an infant daughter, Kelley, in 1962.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 05, 2023, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Worcester Road, Route 68, Hubbardston, MA.
A Calling Hour will be held Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hubbardston Council on Aging, 7 Main St #3, Hubbardston, MA 01452. Please reference in memory of Jeanne H. Mnoholitny.
