Ilona Kumpu Obituary
Ilona Ann Kumpu, of Worcester, Massachusetts, born on December 3, 1945, in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, passed away at the age of 79 on October 7, 2025.
Ilona was the daughter of Victor and Helen Kumpu, both of whom preceded her in death. Ilona's life was filled with the love of her friends and extended family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit and the memories she created will continue to bring joy to those who knew her. We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to the hospice team at Ascend Health for the tremendous love and care provided to Ilona during her final days. She was treated with the utmost dignity by the entire hospice team, making her last days peaceful and filled with care.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15, at 1:00 PM at Glenwood Cemetery, 763 Main Street, Ashby, MA 01431.
