Dave MacAdams, born on May 21, 1934, in Catskill, NY, passed away on October 5, 2025. A longtime resident of Gardner, Massachusetts, Dave devoted much of his life to his work and community. He served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He excelled as a foreman in the plastics industry, retiring from Nylon Products. Following his retirement, he continued to serve his community, working as the groundskeeper for Ron Burton's Training Village and operating Dave's Firewood for several years. A devout member of the 7th Day Adventist Church, Courtney's faith played a significant role in his life. His hobbies included gardening and ardently supporting the New England Patriots, watching Sunday football with his son Mark.
Dave is survived by his son, Mark MacAdams, his grandson Mark MacAdams, his granddaughter Molly MacAdams, and his sister Audrey Penney. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Frances MacAdams, and his Brother Timothy MacAdams. Visitation will be held at Mack Family Funeral Homes- Gardner Chapel, 105 Central Street, Gardner, Massachusetts, 01440, on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 11:00 a.m. Dave will be laid to rest at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475, on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at 11:00 am EDT. The family extends an invite to celebrate Dave's life at the Polish American Citizens Club in Gardner on October 11th following the funeral service.
