Jeanne Marie Picard cherished mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on August 12, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in South Boston, daughter of the late Jeanne M. Picard and the late Daniel G. Picard. Beloved mother to Victoria (Picard) Rose, Robert (Bobby) Picard and his wife Sharon, Raymond Picard and his wife Nicole, Kristen (Picard) Lauro and her husband Michael. Loving sister to Mary Picard Walsh and her husband Patrick, Daniel G. Picard and his wife Lois, Nancy (Picard) Costigliola and her husband Frank all of South Boston. Devoted Grandmother to Joshua, Rachael. Andrew, Katherine, Ava, Dylan, Breanna and Brendan. Loving great-grandmother to Myla Jeanne and Camila Rose. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Loving companion of the late Harry Carroll.
Jeanne enjoyed baking and crocheting for her family and friends and especially for her grandchildren. She was a passionate Red Sox fan. She also loved to singand listen to music along with hanging out with her friends at 120 H Street.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the Casper Funeral Home 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston, MA on Sunday August 17, 2025 from 3:00p-7:00p followed by a funeral mass on Monday August 18th at10:00am at Saint Brigid's Church 841 East Broadway South Boston.
