Jeanne M. Rice (Moffei), age 83 of Havertown, PA passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, April 5, 2025. Jeanne was born on January 19, 1942, in Philadelphia, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Virginia Moffei.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, George E. Rice, of 58 years; her children: Robert Rice and Lisa (Phil) Baglivo; her sisters: Margaret Woodcock (Joe Deldeo) Mary Ann Sharr (Tim Glomb), Linda Ferroni (Dom); her sister-in-law: Joan Connor; many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Jeanne grew up in Philadelphia and then in Drexel Hill and attended Archbishop Prendergast High School (class of 1960).
She enjoyed working as a Merchandiser with American Greetings Card Company for many years. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, loved the holidays, especially decorating for each holiday and loved baking her delicious pizzelles for everyone to enjoy. Ocean City, NJ was her favorite place to visit, along with trips to Florida, California and Las Vegas. She was kind, caring and always put others before herself. Her presence will truly be missed.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 10 at Annunciation B.V.M. Church, 401 Brookline Boulevard, Havertown, PA 19083 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am followed by her funeral mass. Burial is at St. Denis Cemetery on Eagle Road in Havertown, PA.
