Arnold C. Klein, age 81, of Glen Mills, PA, formerly of Havertown, PA, passed away on December 2, 2025. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ruth Klein (nee Balz). Arnold was always the life of the party with a big personality, booming voice and sarcastic wit. He was an honest, hardworking, self-made man devoted to his wife, Rosalie of over 50 years.

Arnold proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marine Corps. His professional career began in sales and eventually insurance, where his commitment to excellence was evident in everyone he worked for. Upon retiring, he founded a new company dedicated to helping people understand and navigate Medicare. He approached this work with genuine care, patiently and meticulously supporting parishioners and friends in finding the plans that served them best. He valued attitude and service. One of his favorite quotes: “It’s not your aptitude but your attitude that determines your altitude.”

Arnold found joy in racquetball, golf, and later pickleball, embodying a spirit of competition and camaraderie. He contributed his time and passion as a basketball coach and served as President of the Sacred Heart Church Youth Organization. Back when all the dads volunteered as the umpires at Hilltop, his loud, booming voice calling balls and strikes, fair or foul were legendary. He was an avid powerwalker, doing a 5 mile loop around Havertown with his compression socks and heavy hands.

Arnold held a profound appreciation for nature and the world around him. He was very patriotic, admiring the grace of bald eagles and the beauty of the American flag. He loved cars and technology, upgrading every couple of years. He had a big appetite and was always thankful for a delicious meal. You can’t count how many times he said, “Roe, you did it again. That was amazing!” In his free time, you could often find him lost in the hobbies he loved: diving into historical stories, taking on complex puzzles, or preserving memories behind the lens of his camera.

Arnold cherished family getaways spent at the Manitou in the Poconos, Sea Isle City, Marriott Fairway Villas, and Disney World, where memories of laughter and joy were crafted with family and grandchildren. He was a member of the McCall Golf Club, where he hit a hole in one! Everywhere he went he formed friendships with his big personality and outgoing nature. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren perform in school plays, participate in sports and dance recitals.

A devout Catholic, he served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a Captain at the Men of Malvern Retreat House, honored for serving over 50 years. Arnold's faith was the cornerstone upon which he built his life, guiding his actions and instilling hope in those fortunate enough to know him.

Arnold was the beloved husband of the late Rosalie Klein (nee Del Rossi); loving father of Stephen Klein (MaryAnn), Gregory Klein (Sarah), and Melissa Bradley (Matt); adoring grandfather of Anna Rose, Vivian, Gloria, Benjamin, Charles, Coco Klein, and Isabella and Julia Bradley; caring brother of Maureen Becker, Thomas Klein, and Mariruth Tagye.

Family and friends are invited to Arnold’s Visitation 9:30-10:30 AM on Monday, December 15, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church, 105 Wilson Ave, Havertown, PA 19083, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul, Springfield, PA.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Arnold’s name to Malvern Retreat House, 315 S. Warren Ave, Malvern, PA 19355, malvernretreat.com, would be appreciated.
