Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel - Grove CityJeanne Ann Walker, born on March 25, 1975, in Columbus, Ohio, passed away on November 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by her strong personality and deep love for her family. Throughout her life, she exemplified a feisty spirit, showcasing a mix of stubbornness and strength, always serving as a protective figure for her loved ones.
Jeanne enjoyed a fulfilling career as an assistant to the CEO of Clean Tech, where her dedication and hard work made a lasting impact. However, it was her role as a mother that she cherished most. Jeanne was immensely proud of the life she built with her husband, Donny and together they nurtured a close-knit family that brought them endless joy.
Her love for her children was profound, and she is survived by her daughters, Kaylie (Mark Allman) Walker, Layla (Jeremiah Farley) Walker, step children; Linda (Jessie) Harris, her Donald Walker, and Diana Walker. Jeanne also leaves behind grandchildren Jordan, Liam, Rayah, TJ, Finny, and Mark Jr., who all held a special place in her heart. In addition, she is survived by her mother, Cynthia Tayner, her father, David (Diana) Skaggs, and her sister, Peggy (Luther) Rodgers.
Jeanne had various interests that included reading and playing with her beloved guinea pigs. Her love extended to her dogs, Max, Bane, and Leelee, who were always by her side.
Though she will be deeply missed, Jeanne's spirit will live on through the memories she created with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her brother, Kelly Tayner.
Visitation will be held on November 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest, located at 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 6:00 PM.
