Mrs. Jeanne Hardesty Wise, age 72, of Webster, KY, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at the University of Louisville Hospital. Jeanne was born on December 12, 1952.
Jeanne retired from Meade County EMS after a lengthy career in Emergency Services sacrificing her time with friends and family to take care of the others in her community that she so deeply loved. She loved her friends and family fiercely and touched the hearts of many people. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting. Her greatest love was the holidays and spending time with her family enjoying all of her favorite foods.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth Ann and Kenny Embry, and James Hardesty, Sr.; and her two dogs, Alfie and Brandy. She is survived by her husband, Cliff Wise; her son, Adam Robinson and his wife, Amanda; three step children, Clifford A. (Angie) Wise, Stephanie (Willie) Lynch, and Tabitha (Brent) Heid; nine grandchildren, Blaine, Owen, and Annie Robinson, Cooper, Kimber, Brodie, Johnathan (Paris), William and Michael; two great grandchildren, Boston and Zoey; her brother, Jimmy (Cherie) Hardesty; two sisters, Jackie Claycomb, and Janet (Chuck) Doan; several nieces and nephews; her special caretaker, Katie Mast; and her beloved great pyrenees, Hoss.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM EDT on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at Holy Guardian Angel Catholic Church, with Rev. Michael Charles Abiero officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Merino Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the chapel of the Hager Funeral Home, and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. A vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM EDT on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the James Graham Brown Cancer Center.
