Neil Williams Obituary

He was born on March 29, 1955 son of the late Floyd Henry Williams and Bendetta Mae Jupin Williams. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Williams.
Neil was a very caring person, always happy to help those in need. As a Christian, Neil believed that if you loved someone, you should show it. Many in his life did show what he meant to them. Neil loved the Lord with all of his heart. He was a member of Payneville Community Church and loved his church family very much.
He was a recovering alcoholic for almost 30 years and that was something to be proud of. He had overcome many obstacles in his life that others would not have.
Neil was a truck driver for many years and met a lot of good people along the way who became his friends. Neil will be missed by many, as he is heaven bound.
He is survived by his wife of 11 years, Sharon Williams; granddaughter, Carissa (Jack Byrn) Howard; great-grandson, Samuel Zackary Robert Byrn; brother, Steve (Stephanie) Williams; and additional family members, Karen McCormick, Ethan (Zoey) McCormick, Jalen (Kristin) Hardcastle, and Ezra and Jax Hardcastle, as well as his close friends Peggy and Ralph Carwile.
Visitation will be held at the Bruington-Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 1-7:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Sunday.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. with burial to follow in Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery in Brandenburg, KY.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to the Alcohalt House Inc, (2255 Fairgrounds Rd., Brandenburg, KY 40108)
