Jeannette Corrine Dixon, "Jeannie", age 70, passed away on October 5th at home. She was born Jeannette Corrine Evans daughter to Thomas and Jeannette Evans in Somerville NJ. She lived in Hunterdon County most of her life where she was the last graduating class of '73 from High Bridge School. Where she began to work as a cottage training tech at Hunterdon Develop Mental Center where she worked for 37 years when she retired in 2012.
She was a lifelong member of St Joseph's Church where she sang in the choir. She was an avid reader and enjoyed her arts and crafts. She also loved her jewelry and genealogy. What she loved most of all was spending her time with family.
She was a beloved mother, sister grandmother and aunt. She was known for her good heart and nature. She is predeceased by her son Joshua Ryan Dixon and son in-law Brian Jeffrey Meyer.
Surviving is her daughter Kelly Dixon Meyer. Brother and Sister in law Sean and Sharon Evans. 7 Grandchildren- Sebastian, Brookelynn, Delaney, Thomas, Aurora, Landen and Ellie Jean, and 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Calling hours will take place on Monday, October 13, 2025 from 1pm- 5pm with memorial service at 5pm. All at Naughright-Scarponi Funeral Home, 66 Main Street, High Bridge, NJ. Interment will be private.
