Dorothy Jeanne (Jeannie) Clark was born on November 28, 1944 to James Edward Toone and Victoria Dorothy McKay of Claresholm, Alberta, Canada. She peacefully left this earth on January 18, 2025 surrounded by her loving children.

Jeannie was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings. Jeannie is survived by her children Matthew and Catherine Clark, Wendie and Bryan Jarman, James and Kathryn Clark, September Clark, Teancum and Brooke Clark and Victoria and Jared Larson, her 24 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Jeannie was the oldest of four children. She had a wonderful childhood riding horses and spending the summers with her grandparents at the beach in British Columbia. As a young lady she enjoyed ice skating, ballroom dancing, and taking care of her dogs. She loved the gospel and served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Central States Mission. She had a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ, was a devoted wife for 32 years, and raised 6 beautiful children in the gospel. In her later years, she loved to paint with her sister. She loved to learn through reading and enjoyed discussing the gospel with her many friends and family. She also enjoyed traveling to visit her children and grandchildren across the North American continent.

In her last years, although she couldn’t physically serve, she felt her calling was to pray for others. Jeannie struggled with chronic back pain since her youth, she mentioned in her last weeks how much she loved the body she was given and was grateful for how it had served her so well. Throughout her life, Jeannie developed many lifelong relationships with friends and family. She had dreams of one day visiting Costa Rica to chase butterflies.

The family would like to thank the staff and nurses of Floor 8 at Utah Valley Hospital who served and cared for her. As well as the many family and friends who were able to visit her in her last days.

Funeral Services will not be held at this time but a celebration of her life will be announced in the coming weeks.
