Marilyn E. "Jeannie" Pollard, 79, of Nortonville, KS, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at home surrounded by her family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nortonville, KS with Fr. William Dun-Dery as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM, Monday, February 17, 2025, at the church with visitation following until 8:00 PM. Memorial are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Lung Association and may be sent in care of the Becker-Dyer-Stanton and O'Trimble Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at www.beckerdyer.com.
Jeannie was born August 5, 1945, in Winchester, KS, the daughter of Norbert and Clara (Amend) Kramer. She graduated high school from Mount Saint Scholastica. Jeannie was a homemaker, wife and mother. She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Nortonville, KS, she was a faithful servant of the church and the Altar Society. Jeannie enjoyed quilting, sewing and crocheting, baking and cooking. She loved being with her family.
Jeannie married Larry Pollard on November 26, 1964, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Atchison, KS. He survives of the home. She is also survived by a son Jesse and Becky Pollard, Sahuarita, AZ, three daughters, Jeannine Pollard, Kansas City, KS, Julie Trower, Topeka, KS, Elizabeth Joe and Gary Curtis, Arrington, KS, son in law Patrick Kingman, Nortonville, a brother, Thomas and Terry Kramer, Cummings, KS, a sister, Karen Weber, Effingham, KS, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Jeannette Kingman, a brother Raymond Kramer, a sister Barbara Bindel and a granddaughter, Elaine Mae Curtis.
