Jeannie Stanga Obituary
Jeannie Stanga peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 72. She was born on Wednesday, April 29, 1953, to the late Pervis "Mack" McGraw and Claudia McGuire McGraw. Jeannie was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
Jeannie had a love for the simple joys in life including crossword puzzles, chatting with friends, and spending time outdoors tending to her pool and plants. She was known for her kindness, warm laughter, and quiet strength that touched everyone around her. Whether she was helping Brian in the workshop or sipping coffee on the deck while watching the birds, Jeannie brought light and joy to each moment. Her heart was especially big when it came to animals, and she cared for them with the same love she gave to the people in her life.
Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Brian Stanga, and her beloved pets, Mia and Oakley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claudia and Pervis "Mack" McGraw, and sister, Joyce McGraw.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 from 10:00 am until the service begins at 12:00 pm.
