Jeff William Carter Jr. passed away Friday August 8, 2025 at his home in Lexa, Arkansas at the age of 71.
Jeff was born April 27,1954 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to his parents, Jeff William Carter Sr. and Donna Patterson Carter. He was the second of five children.
Jeff loved to hunt, fish and watch the Razorbacks. In his later years he loved feeding and watching the wild life in his front yard.
Jeff was Baptist by faith.

In high school in England, Arkansas, Jeff played football and basketball. He graduated in 1973 and after, had several jobs, including running cotton gin in Sherrill, Arkansas and Gila Bend, Arizona. He later became a Millwright and worked jobs in several states. His last employment before retirement was with Enviro Tech Chemical in Helena, Arkansas.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, JW Carter and Donna Patterson VanDalsen.

He is survived by one son, Jeff William Carter III known as Trey of Hope, Arkansas three brothers John Carter of Bradford, Arkansas, Joe Carter (Deniese) of England, Arkansas, and Don Carter of Keo, Arkansas. He is also survived by one sister Janna Terry (Tony) of Vilonia, Arkansas, Five grandsons of Hope, Arkansas and Shelia Dunlap, his long-time girlfriend, of West Helena, Arkansas many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A special thanks to Randy Warfield for being a good friend and landlord to Jeff for many years.

A memorial service will be held at a later date for family and close friends.
Cremation services are under the direction of Wilson-Robinson Funeral Home
