Jeff M. Cobb, 66, of Liberty went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, September 12, 2025 surrounded by his family following a seven-month journey with ALS. Jeff continued to have peace knowing God was with him and he refused to let ALS take his spirit.

A native of Alamance County, he was the loving husband of Connie Cobb, who survives and the son of Herbert Vance Cobb and Rosemary Albright Cobb Chase, both deceased.

Jeff graduated from Gainesville High School and later in life went back to school and earned a bachelor's degree in accounting from Guilford College. He worked for twenty-five years at Qorvo as a wafer fab technician and became a great friend to many of his coworkers. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed time with his grandchildren, woodworking, gardening, and cheering on the Florida Gators. He and Connie loved taking nature walks together, trips to the beach and mountains, and cutting and stacking wood together. Jeff had a big heart and was always willing to help others. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, "Papa", brother and friend to so many and will be greatly missed.

In addition to his wife and best friend, Connie of their home, he is survived by his son, Herbert Rhett Cobb (Holly) of Danville, Va; his daughter, Tiffany Cobb (Daniel) of Mebane; six grandchildren, Ian, Ava, Devyn, Bryce, Blythe, Ella; and two sisters.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington at 11:00 am. The family will have a reception to follow at Friendship Church, 4612 Friendship Patterson Mill Rd. Burlington, NC 27215.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ALS United North Carolina, 4 N. Blount Street – Suite 200, Raleigh, NC 27601 or visit alsnc.org.
