Jeffrey Wayne Diseron, 62 of Macomb, formerly of Rushville, passed away at 10:40 PM on Monday, November 4, 2024, at the Elms Nursing Home with his daughter and son in-law by his side.
Jeff was born on January 5, 1962, in Rushville to Wayne & Helen (McDonald) Diseron. He married Dena Welch in 2002, and she preceded him in death on April 16, 2024.
Jeff is survived by his father Wayne Diseron, daughter; Jamie (Patrick) Draughan, grandkids Jordan, Carson and Dax Draughan, a sister; Diane Bryant and by several nieces, nephews and friends, especially his best friend; Jimmy Crook.
In addition to his wife, Dena, Jeff was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Diseron.
Jeff’s biggest enjoyment in life was his family, Cardinal Baseball, and Packer football. When his daughter was younger, their weekends would be spent fishing, mushroom hunting and riding four wheelers; especially on muddy Sunday afternoons. Jeff and Dena enjoyed going to Cardinal Baseball games. They never missed an opportunity to watch their grandson play football; from flag football all through high school. In his younger days, Jeff was always up for a good time. He enjoyed participating in the Schuyler County fairs, mud slings and demo derbies; and sporting a pink car painted by his daughter. Jeff had a kind heart with a slightly ornery personality.
Funeral services honoring Jeff’s life will be conducted at 6:00 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Triplett & Wood Funeral Home of Rushville. Pastor Rob Kirkham will preside. Cremation rites will be accorded following services. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until the time of services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Jeff are suggested to The Elms of Macomb. You are invited to share your memories of Jeff and leave a condolence at www.triplettwood.com
