Jeff Herbert Hall, a beloved son, brother, partner, and friend, passed away on January 10, 2026, at the age of 59 in Lake, Mississippi. Born on March 20, 1966, in Jackson, Mississippi, Jeff's life was a tapestry of joyful moments woven through his passions, relationships, and steadfast spirit.
A proud resident of Lake, Jeff found solace in the great outdoors, where he dedicated countless hours to his favorite pursuits of hunting and fishing. He often found peace in the simple joy of cutting grass, taking pride in maintaining the beauty of his surroundings.
Jeff's warmth and generosity of spirit extended to all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He is survived by his loving domestic partner, Joan Cohn, whose companionship brought immense happiness to his life. He leaves behind cherished siblings, Judy Ainsworth, Belton C. Hall, and Tony Hall, who will remember him not just as a brother but as a guiding light and supporter through life's countless journeys.
Jeff also had a deep affection for his fur babies, Mike and George, who enriched his everyday life with their playful antics and unconditional love.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Belton and Annie Plunkett Hall, who were instrumental in shaping his values and character. Also preceding him were his brother, Glenn D. Hall, and sister-in-law, Janie Hall, each of whom will be remembered with fondness and gratitude for their unique contributions to his life.
In honoring Jeff's memory, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of adventure, love, and cherished moments. His legacy will continue through all those who had the privilege to call him family and friend.
