Jeff Locklear Obituary
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Brenda Chavis and Carolyn Locklear. Mr. Locklear was a true love of life. He was a brick mason by trade, but he had the ability to do anything he set his mind to do. Jeff was a member of God's Holy Assembly Church where he served in many capacities, such as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Treasurer, Custodian, Grounds and Maintenances overseer. He was a true Humanitarian.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years: Retha Locklear, three children: Wakeshia R. Locklear, Jeffery L. Locklear and wife Dawn and Stephanie J. Locklear and husband Dwayne; three siblings: Sherry Ann Locklear, Jerry Locklear and Lacy Locklear. 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at God's Holy Assembly Church in Shannon.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at God's Holy Assembly Church in Shannon.
Service has been entrusted to Boles Funeral Home in Red Springs.
