David Lewis Hubbard Jr.

Mr. David Lewis Hubbard Jr. of Robbins, NC, was born on Wednesday, December 19, 1962 in Robeson County to Mary Ellen Hawks Hubbard and the late David Lewis Hubbard Sr. and departed this life on Sunday, January 25, 2026 completing his journey of 63 years.

Mr. Hubbard leaves to cherish his memories, his mother: Mary Hubbard of Robbins; his siblings: Ellen Johnson (Robert) of Red Springs and Rodney Hubbard Sr. (Laurie) of Red Springs; two nieces: Heather Jones (Phil) of Tennessee and Emalee Shultz (Frank) of Washington State; one nephew: Rodney Hubbard Jr. of Red Springs; one great-nephew: Brayden Jones of Tennessee as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Mr. Hubbard was a member of Shannon Baptist Church and the VFW in Moore County. In his spare time, he had many hobbies including: vegetable gardening, carpentry work, and being an avid researcher. He also enjoyed animals, especially chickens, cats and dogs.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 7-9 P.M. at 300 Church Street Red Springs, NC 28377. They will also receive friends for visitation on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 1-2 P.M. at Boles Funeral Home in Red Springs. The funeral will begin immediately following the visitation beginning at 2 P.M. Burial will follow at Alloway Cemetery.
