Jeff Perry Obituary
Jeff was an independent rancher and farmer who raised cattle, baled hay, and worked with the land in a way that suited his quiet nature. He was deeply at home outdoors-whether watching the sunrise from a deer stand, walking tree lines in the Ozark foothills, or casting a line into the still waters of Lake Dardanelle. Hunting, fishing, and life under an open sky were not hobbies for Jeff-they were part of his identity and where he felt closest to God.
Jeff enjoyed dirt biking, camping, and exploring rural backroads throughout Arkansas. He preferred life on his own terms and was not one to seek out clubs, groups, or public recognition. However, those who truly knew him understood that Jeff was devoted, loyal, and steady. He had only a few close friends, but to each of them, he was the kind of friend you could count on without hesitation.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn and Bonnie Perry, Dwight and Dorothy DeVorak, and a nephew, Bryce Perry.
He is survived by his parents, Beth and Doug Perry of Bella Vista; two brothers, Chad (Jamye) Perry of Bentonville, and Michael (Mandy) Perry of Gravette,; nieces and nephews Brianna and Brayden Perry of Bentonville, Rachel Perry of Eugene, Oregon, and Faith and Caleb Perry of Gravette; and a longtime friend, Jeff "Doc" Yates, who shared many miles and memories with Jeff over the years.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 11, 2025, at Humphrey Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 9:00 a.m. Rev. Stephen Davis will officiate. Pallbearers are Michael Perry, Chad Perry, Brayden Perry, Jeff Yates, Caleb Perry, and Jeremy DeVorak.
Burial will follow at Center Valley Memorial Gardens in Russellville, under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
