Jeff Warren

Jeffrey "Jeff" Alan Warren, 64, of Belleville, IL, born on February 19,1961, on Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, NE, passed away on Friday, November 7, 2025, in St. Louis, MO.

Jeff lived and traveled to many places over the course of his life; he grew up a child of a military parent and spent his childhood in many places including Guam and England before eventually settling in O'Fallon, IL. He graduated from O'Fallon High School in 1979 where he was a member of the wrestling team, football team and he ran track. Jeff later graduated from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville with a degree in Computer Science.

Jeff had a wide variety of interests and hobbies. He loved classic rock music, hunting for pheasants on his maternal grandparents' property in Iowa, hunting for deer in Illinois and Missouri, as well as fishing whenever he could. He was an avid reader and had a life-long appreciation for history, particularly World War II and the ancient histories of Rome, Greece, and Egypt. Jeff became somewhat of an expert on ancient civilizations and started a novice collection of artifacts from his areas of interest. He enjoyed visiting antique stores in New York in search of such precious treasures. Additionally, Jeff was a big fan of the St. Louis Rams and became an original PSL owner with his name on the Rams Stadium. He would travel whenever he could, often abroad to countries like Italy, Greece, and Egypt, where he would continue to study historical sites that interested him. Jeff enjoyed staying active and could frequently be found lifting weights in his basement. He also had a passion for tennis, and even attended the US Open In New York, as well as the French Open in Paris, and Wimbledon in London. While he was far from a social butterfly, whenever Jeff made a new friend, they were friends for life.

Jeff was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, as well as two aunts and two uncles.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Jerry and Josephine, nee Gunderson, Warren; his sister Jana (Vern) Tucker; niece, Ashley (Chris) Medders; nephew, Jake (McKenna)

Tucker; close friends, David Belcha and Dan Wills; in addition to many uncles, aunts, cousins, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, November 14, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m., at Schildknecht Funeral Home; 301 S. Lincoln Ave. O'Fallon, IL 62269, with a celebration of life immediately following.
