Jeff L. Williams, 69, of Platteville, Wisconsin, died at his home on Friday, February 20, 2026, of natural causes. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at the Free Methodist Church, Platteville. Rev. Jeff Suits will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. The Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, is serving the family. Jeff was born on October 7, 1956, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Leon and Josephine (Nefzger) Williams. He worked at WPVL radio, Platteville, and later for Anderson Windows and Saputo Cheese for many years. The past few years he has been working for Grounds Control Landscaping, Platteville.

Jeff loved fishing on the Mississippi, Mud Lake and Door County, fishing for Salmon. He enjoyed traveling to Germany, motorcycles and Halloween. He will be missed by his dog, Loki.

Jeff is survived by his two sons, Eric Williams, Kurt (Lydia) Williams, two grandchildren, Phoenix and Kali, his parents, Leon and Josephine Williams, brother, Greg Williams, nephew, Luke Fadness, niece, Brooke (Mike) Fadness; great nieces and nephews and special friend Jacob and Hillary Wilson.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Fadness.
