Jeffery Allen Binger, age 64, of Willmar, passed away unexpectedly at CentraCare Rice Hospital on Monday, November 18.
Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m. followed by a celebration of life service at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 25, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. During the visitation, we will have a time of remembrance and enjoy some of Jeff’s favorite snacks, root beer floats and popcorn. After the service, we would like to invite everyone to Sterling Manor (501 28th Ave. SW.), where Jeff resided and worked, to continue the fellowship and enjoy a homecooked meal. www.petersonbrothers.com
Our family was not expecting Jeff’s life to be cut so short so soon. We are all devastated by this huge loss and he will be forever missed. He was born with a naturally kind soul, a generous heart, a contagious laugh, a big smile for everyone he met and was always a joy to be around.
Jeff was born in Minneapolis MN to Dorothy O’donell and Floyd Jacobson and was raised in various towns. He married Julie Roelofs and bought a farm in New London MN where they raised their two daughters Carmen and Rachel. After his separation with Julie, he eventually moved to Willmar where he has since resided with his longtime girlfriend Maria Tadych. He’s had many jobs in his lifetime and was always known as a hard worker and a helping hand if needed. He settled on his passion of caring for the Sterling Manor and its residents.
His love for the outdoors and nature was unmatched. He loved his remote little cabin in the woods and the land surrounding. If he wasn’t working, he would be out at the cabin enjoying a warm (very warm ;)) fire or tending to his field. He enjoyed going on gator/four-wheeler rides with all his family members and being able to show them the nature.
Jeff has had a long battle with esophageal cancer for about 2 years now and beating it twice. You would never know it though. He was always full of life
Jeff was proceeded in death by his mother Dorothy, his sister Denise, and his beloved dog Sparky.
He will always be remembered with much love by his heartbroken daughters, Carmen (Kayla) Binger, Rachel (Nick) Scharafanow; his special friend Maria; father Floyd Jacobson; brothers: Dale Binger, Stephen (Jodi) Jacobson, sisters: Diane (Dave) Pautzke, Danette Binger; grandkids: Zoia, Zhara, Gideon and Quinn, the Binger Twins, Maria’s family: daughter Angie (Gary) Londo and their children Scarlett and Violet a and long list of deeply-saddened extended family
