Jeffery Darryl Burns

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffery Darryl Burns on August 4, 2024, in Mineral Wells, Texas. He was born in Mineral Wells, TX August 17, 1963. Jeffery was a proud graduate of Mineral Wells High School. He married Sandra in 1984, and together they raised three wonderful children: Eric, Jeffery Jr and Tyshann.

Jeffery was preceded in death by his parents, Narvestor Joseph Burns, Sr. and Lovie Jean Burns.

Jeffery's legacy will live on through his beloved children and grandchildren. He is survived by the following family: his children, Eric Hubbard, Jeffery Burns Jr., and Tyshann McMurray; his grandchildren, Lyndon, Leighton, and Teagan; his siblings, Narvestor J. Burns, Jr. of Brownwood, TX, Patricia Burns-Pickens of Fort Worth, TX, Linda F. Burns of Mineral Wells, TX, Rodney Burns of Brownwood, TX, Kenneth Burns of Mineral Wells, TX, Jo Ann Burns of Fort Worth, TX, and Douglas Burns of Mineral Wells, TX; and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Jeffery enjoyed cooking, especially barbecuing. He was a skilled handyman, always eager to fix things around the house and work on cars. In his free time, he found joy in fishing. 

Jeffery will be remembered for his loving spirit and his dedication to his family. He touched the lives of those around him and will be greatly missed. 

A memorial service will be held on August 10th at 2 PM. The location of services will be held at Baum-Carlock-Bumgardner Funeral Home Chapel, 302 W Hubbard St, Mineral Wells, TX 76067. All are welcome to join us in celebrating his life.
