Jeffery “Catman” Ray Castello, 68, of Quaker City, passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at his home.
Jeffery was born on June 25, 1957, in Wheeling, WV, a son to Shirley (Eschbaugh) McCort and the late Wayne Castello.
Jeffery enjoyed listening to music.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his sister, Shari Lori, his brother, Stevie Castello, and his niece, Ashley Burroughs.
Jeffery is survived by his brothers, Mark (Jennifer) McCort of Quaker City and Michael (Leiann) McCort of Pataskala, his sister, Valerie Baker of Barnesville, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 11AM to 1PM with the service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Quaker City. A burial at Friends Cemetery will be held at a later date.
