Jeffery Darnell Benedict, Sr., 70, passed away Sunday, November 17, 2024.
He was a Supervisor for the Department of Veterans Affairs and a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Delores Jean Benedict; siblings, Deborah Jean Benedict and Darryl W. Wells.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Alisa Gerton, Catira Benedict and Jeffery D. Benedict, Jr.; siblings, Johnny Wells (Jeri), Karen Thompson, Vickie Wells, Gary Wells (Faye), Michael Wells and Ricky Wells; granddaughter, Tyler Rice; great-grandchild, Legacy Reyes and bonus daughter, Toya Thomas.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 11am - 1pm at A.D. Porter & Sons-Southeast, 4501 Bardstown Rd. with the funeral services to follow at 1pm. Military Honors immediately after funeral service at the funeral home.
