Jeffery Scott Hubbard, age 61, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025.
Family, friends, and all those whose lives he touched are invited to attend visitation
services from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2025, at Usrey Funeral Home in
Talladega, Alabama. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 24, 2025,
officiated by Beaver Tinsley.
A proud native and lifelong resident of Talladega, Jeffery dedicated many years of his
life to working at Honda of Alabama, retiring in 2020. Beyond his career, Jeffery had a
deep passion for motorcycles, often embarking on memorable adventures with
cherished friends and family, exploring the beauty of the open road across many
destinations.
Above all else, Jeffery treasured his role as a grandfather. His greatest joy came from
the time he spent with his three beloved grandchildren-Christopher Hubbard, Tanner
Hubbard, and Olivia Hubbard creating lasting memories filled with laughter, wisdom,
and unconditional love.
Jeffery is lovingly remembered and survived by his sister, Nena Smith; his devoted son,
Kevin Hubbard; niece, Tabitha Hubbard; great-nieces, Echo and Alice Hubbard; and those he embraced as family, serving as a cherished father figure
to Langdon Goray (Danielle), Matthew Sparks (Alyson), and Jeremy Swindeall
(Jasmine).
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Harvey and Mary Frances Hubbard;
his loving wife, Mary Ware Hubbard; his dear brother, Bruce Hubbard; and cherished
daughter-in-law, Amanda Hubbard.
Though words alone cannot express our sorrow, we find comfort knowing his spirit
continues to watch over us, guiding us toward brighter tomorrows. Jeffery will forever be
remembered as a father, teacher, mentor, and coach-a true hero whose legacy lives
on in the countless hearts he touched.
