Jeffery Thomas Larson

Jeffery Thomas Larson, age 75 of Burnsville, MN, passed away at his home with family by his side on March 13, 2026. This, after a 6-month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Jeff was born on May 18, 1950, in Minneapolis, MN to Richard and Elaine Larson. Jeff proudly served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. A graduate of Metro State, Jeff worked jobs at CompServ, Fourth Shift, ADC and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Jeff and Sandy married in 1998 in Aitkin County. The two enjoyed their annual vacations to Zihuatanejo, Mexico, spending time at their cabin near Park Rapids and other activities such as hunting, fishing, biking and walking. He is preceded in death by his father Richard, mother Elaine, step father Russell Tenney, daughter Kate Larson, and brother Steve Larson.

Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Sandy; step-daughters, Kaylee (Adam) Stawikoski and Shelby (Blaine) Cooper; grandchildren, Kylin, Carter, Maverick, Brady, Carson, and Kensley; siblings, Mark, Kris Seymour, and Marta Larson; and many other family members and friends.

Per Jeff's wishes, there will be no funeral service. He will be laid to rest at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on April 6th, 2026 – please gather at Assembly Area 3 no later than 11:15 am.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center for their care and compassion. A special thank you is given to the exceptional nursing staff on 3F, whose professionalism and dedication brought comfort and dignity to Jeff and his family during his final days.
