Jeffery D. "Little Jeff' Robinson was born on February 7, 1990, in Paterson New Jersey, to his loving parents, Jeffery D. Robinson, Sr. and Veronica Motley.
"Little Jeff "was educated in the Paterson School System, and attended Passaic County Technical High School in Wayne, NJ. He attended Bergen County College, and Passaic Community College.
"Little Jeff ''accepted the Lord at an early age, under the watchful eye of his Grand Parents, the late Apostle Joseph and Prophetess Laura Robinson. He enjoyed church and would help out wherever needed.
Jeffery Jr. was always a soft spoken, kind-hearted and fun-loving person. He loved his family and would always be the life of any family gathering. Watching and working with his Grandparents and his father, "Little Jeff " became very community minded and wanted to help in any way to support the Paterson Community. This desire and drive only grew bigger and bigger as he matured.
Jeffery Jr. had a passion for cars and loved working and driving beautiful automobiles. Jeff was a familiar face to his customers at Jay's Car Wash and became a mentor to his workers and colleagues. He became an avid car enthusiast who loved to customize his vehicles and would help others achieve. His moto was "'whatever you need, I'm there for you." "Little Jeff ", soon would carry on the family legacy, and become the third generation of entrepreneurs, on the corner of Apostle Joseph Robinson Way and Summer Street in Paterson. After Graduation "Little Jeff put his heart and soul into his family business, Jay's Car Wash. He would often be found at the car wash washing, detailing, tinting, fixing and customizing his cars. His dedication and hard work were evident in the quality of service that he provided to his customers and community friends. To know "Little Jeff "was to love him.
On Saturday April 15th at the age of 33, this wonderful and beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend slipped into eternity to be with other family members, who have gone on before. While his life might have been short, the impact he leaves on his family, and the world, will never be forgotten.
Jeff was preceded in death by his loving grandparents; Apostle Joseph and Prophetess Laura Robinson (paternal) and Mr. and Mrs. Henry (Lois) Motley (Maternal).
He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving parents; Mr. Jeffery D. Robinson, Sr, and Ms. Veronica Rivers, The light of his life, and devoted loves, his children; Jai-La Robinson, and Kyian Shannon, his sisters; Jasmen Williams, Aaniyah Robinson, Dymond Robinson, Samiah Dunn, his brother; Tequan Motley, all whom he loved dearly, his loving aunts; Tuniesha Rountree, and Jennifer Vereen, uncles; Joseph T. Robinson, Jr. (Pamela) and Jerry Robinson, his niece; Amani Motley, and nephew; Logan Gordon, (he cherished every, moment he with spent with them) Loving cousins, Tamiesha Motley, TaQuiesha Rountree, Ra'Nali Smith, Sa'Nai DeGroat, Kamden Marshall, Janashia Robinson, Future Vereen, Nico Franklin, David Minor Robinson, Mustafa Minor Robinson, and Shaniqua Minor Robinson, great aunts; Ruby Klein, Veronica LeGrier, Coretta Goodwin, and Hellen M. Hardrick of Hampton. VA, great uncle; James Robinson, of
Paterson, NJ, And a host of loyal devoted loving friends.
He will sorely be missed by his colleagues and friends at his business Jay's Car Wash, and the entire Paterson Community. #ONLYATJAY'S LIVES ON FOREVER!!!
