Jeffrey Alpert, 76, of Rockledge, FL, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Jeff, known fondly as "Zeppo", will be remembered for his deep love of music, particularly his gift at the piano, where he could bring melodies to life and fill any room with joy. His humor was infectious, and he possessed a remarkable ability to find levity and insight throughout his life, touching everyone who knew him with his wisdom and laughter.
Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Caryn, daughters Mackenzie (Alex) Thompson, Kate (Dmitry Shub) Alpert and Kim Alpert, stepson Joshua (Caitlyn) Eckman, grandsons Aaron Shub and Michael Thompson, brother Alan (Nancy) Alpert, nephews Jason (Jenna) Alpert, Eric (Chelsea) Alpert, and Max Alpert. He was a proud Great-Uncle to many. Jeff is also survived by his adored dog Charlie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sol and Gertrude Alpert.
His legacy lives on through the music he shared, the laughter he brought, and the love he gave to his family and all who were fortunate to know him.
Details will be forthcoming in the next couple of months regarding Jeff's Celebration of Life to be held in FL.
