Jeffrey Babitzke Obituary

JEFFREY DEREK BABITZKE
August 25, 1980 ˜ July 8, 2025

During the early morning hours of July 8, 2025, the illness and addiction that had stolen Jeffrey’s vitality took his life. His friends and family will remember his passion for the outdoors, appreciation of true friendship, and yearning to be close with family and God.
Jeffrey was born August 25, 1980, in Vancouver, WA. In 2010, Jeffrey graduated with a certificate in Surgical Technology. He worked for PeaceHealth in Vancouver, WA for a period of 5 years. He then continued his schooling to become a Registered Nurse and graduated in 2018. Unfortunately, his struggles with addiction worsened quickly, and he was unable to spend much time working as an RN.
Jeffrey enjoyed caring for his cats, driving his favorite truck, eating his favorite food Lasagna, snowboarding, biking, camping, hunting, and fishing. He is survived by his parents, Milton Babitzke (Esther) and Jeanette Louden (John), his sisters Heather Franklin (Bob), Amy Russell (Calder) and Melissa Janish (John). He also leaves behind his seven nieces and two nephews along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The memory of his bright smile, big heart, and playful personality will never be forgotten.
A virtual memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 19, at 10 a.m. PST thru Zoom.us Meeting ID 794 5906 5481 Password-Jeff
