Jeffrey Alan Barr

Jeffrey Alan Barr, fondly known to many as Jeff or "Bit," passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Guilford County, North Carolina, at the age of 62. Born on January 18, 1963, in Tucker County, West Virginia, Jeff lived a life filled with hard work, passion, and love for his family and hobbies.

A devoted tradesman, Jeff dedicated over 45 years to his craft in both commercial and residential settings. His hands built and repaired countless homes, and his skill in landscaping transformed many ordinary spaces into beautiful retreats. Beyond his professional life, Jeff was a man of diverse interests who found joy in working on his beloved 1975 Chevy C30 Dully and spent countless hours building and fixing things. His love for animals was evident in the way he cared for his horde of pets, each one holding a special place in his heart.

Family was the centerpiece of Jeff's life, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He was a loving father to his daughter, Jennifer Kennedy (Paul), and a doting grandfather to granddaughters Maisyn, Rachel (Sergio) Moyano, Kaitlyn Kennedy and his great-grandson Santi. They brought him immense joy, and his legacy will live on through them.

Preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Barr, Jeff is survived by a wide circle of loved ones, including his father, Gene Barr (Marilyn), brother Randy Barr, sister Leigh Ann Barr, brother Jason (Julie) Barr, seven nieces, and his significant other, Michaela Perry. Jeff's spirit will continue to inspire his family and friends, who remember him with love and admiration.

In accordance with his wishes, no services will be held at this time. Jeff's family invites those who knew and loved him to honor his memory in their own special way.

Jeff's life was a testament to hard work, love, and the simple joys that come from family and personal passions. He leaves behind a legacy of craftsmanship and love that will not be forgotten.
