Jeffrey S. Booth, 62, of Port Charlotte, FL (formally Aurora, IL) passed away on August 26, 2025.

Jeff was a man defined by his devotion to hard work, his lively spirit, and his love for family and friends. Born in Fort Leonard Wood, MO to James and Judith Booth. He was raised with a strong work ethic that would follow him throughout his life and career at Burgess-Norton from which he retired in 2023. He was known for his integrity and resilience, always dedicated to providing for his loved ones. After retirement Jeff made his achievement with Sherrie starting their new chapter with a dream home in Florida.

Outside of work, Jeff was the life of the party and a familiar face at Phoenix, Turners, and Moose Clubs. His true passions included the simple joys of life. Jeff enjoyed being outdoors, whether he was spending time around campfire or gathering with friends for a competitive game of bags. He was an avid bowler with 3 perfect games, and he loved his Harley. His most cherished role was as a family man. Where he passes along the love of sports to his children and babysitting his granddaughter.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Sherrie; children, Daniel (Jennifer) Booth, James (Jamie) Booth and Cameron (Matthew) Bower. His grandchildren; Daniel, Talim, Sunny and Morgan; mother, Judith Booth; In-laws, Linda and Gary Becker and Rhonda Schriver. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Booth, his sister, Julie Doyle and his granddaughter, Alexandria Joy Anne.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Aurora Phoenix Club on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with an open house and casual attire starting at 2:00pm until 6:00pm.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his infectious laugh and his ability to bring people together.
