We remember Jeff often. He had many words of wisdom which still ring through today. We have lost too many this Year of the Team that Jeff managed and built over his years at EPA. Kate Bouve, who worked with Jeff in the Superfund program, passed away in August. Dalroy Ward, who worked with Jeff on IT projects passed away this Fall. Jeff and all those who worked for and with him will be in our thoughts and prayers. May you all RIP.

Well I guess my memories of Jeff are some of the oldest as we are fraternity brothers for life and beyond. We became frineds in 1963, lived in the same fraternity house for 3 years and shared a small room for a year, and shared the love of the "Mommas and Pappas" and music. Although we lost touch, thanks to facebook, we had the opportunity to rekindle our friendship last year.

From all I read here, Jeff hasn't changed much since college. Caring, helpful, smart, the best friend anyone could have. We will all miss him.

What we will always remember best about Jeff was his enthusiasm for life. Jeff found opportunities in obstacles and possibilities in problems. When one door closed, Jeff always found another to open. He shared his talents with anyone who needed help and never asked for anything is return. He was the best of company and we will miss him

I had the privilege of working with Jeff during his very accomplished career at EPA. His unbridled passion for developing creative solutions, was only exceeded by his devotion to Cindy... and his love for his pets. We're all a little better for sharing his friendship.

Cindy,
We were so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. You all were great neighbors, and we remember enjoying Derby days, buncos, and pool parties w/ you all. Please know that you are in our thoughts.

Cindy, even though I was your neighbor, I didn't get to know you and Jeff all that well. But I was privileged enough to help plan his 65th birthday trip. A small anecdote from that trip demonstrates his empathy and kindness: When the sailing boat you'd chartered had broken down, he and you could have huffed and puffed and caused a fuss. But instead, both of you decided to stick with it after realizing that the very nice boat owners were facing a major bill and that losing your charter would be a financial blow. That says a lot about him and about you. God bless.

Jeff was very special. he was the brains, engineer and manager to one of the greatest information products, Envirofacts, to ever be provided the American people by EPA. We admired and respected his work immensely. He was a fabulous colleague.
We wish you comfort and peace.
