Jeffrey Callendar Obituary
Jeff's life began Jan. 21, 1963, in Watervliet. He was a lifetime Watervliet resident. After graduating high school, he continued his education becoming a diesel mechanic. Jeff worked as a fuel transporter for more than 30 years and was just recently enjoying retirement. He loved his family, football and antiquing. Jeff was an avid collector of oddities. Jeff was loved by everyone and was a very loving, caring husband and father. He will be remembered as quite the jokester.
Jeff deeply loved his family and all his recently acquired family; his favorite nickname was "daddy Jeff." The loving family he leaves behind includes his wife, Gerldine Callendar; son, Seth (Jillian) Taylor; two grandchildren: Thea and Dorian; his mom, Shirley Callendar; two siblings: Mike (Debbie Rushing) Callendar and Brenda Callendar; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeff died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025. He is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Raina; his dad, Richard Callendar; and a brother, John Callendar.
