Jeffrey Cane Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Amory Funeral Home, Inc. - Yorktown on Dec. 3, 2024.
Jeffrey G. Cane, 79, of Massachusetts and Texas, passed on December 1, 2024 following a long battle with cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Irma, two incredible sons and their fabulous daughters-in-law, and two precious granddaughters, and of course, Kubota.
Jeff was a man's man, loved hunting and fishing and camping, and loved the fact that both of his boys followed in his footsteps. He really enjoyed our wacky family and friends reunions. He traveled the world on numerous busy trips, and always managed to squeeze in an extra couple of days for exploring. Jeff totally enjoyed life, and was loved by almost everyone who ever knew him.
There will be no funeral, but a celebration of life at a later time. And in lieu of flowers, make a contribution to a North Carolina Helene Disaster Relief fund of your choice.
The family would like to thank all the friends and family who supported us through this time.

Jeff trusted me with his baby , FJ land cruiser to keep it in my yard until he found a house. We worked together for many years. The wife, he and I had some good times at the Yorktown pub after work. Will miss you my friend. Rest well.

Jeff was one of the good ones and will be dearly missed. I had the good fortune of spending many days with Jeff and his boys and buds, chasing pheasants on the frozen tundra along the North Dakota/Canada border. We did that off and on for the past 25 years, and they were some of the best days of my life. Our camp at Short Creek won't be the same without him.
Rest in peace.
