Jeff Clark, 69, of Sturgeon Bay, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from Multiple Myeloma.
He was born in Oshkosh, Wisconsin on October 31, 1955 to Robert and Mary Jean (Hanson) Clark. Jeff resided in many places around the country growing up; Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin; Brownsville, Texas; New Orleans, Louisiana and Oahu, Hawaii. He graduated from Frayser High School in Memphis, Tennessee in 1973. He was an offensive lineman for the Frayser Rams and also served as Prom King. Jeff remained in touch with many of his teammates over the years.
On May 21, 1983, Jeff married Judy Fish at Hope United Church of Christ in Sturgeon Bay. They were married for 41 years and raised two wonderful children: Jason and Sarah. Jeff and Judy resided in Sturgeon Bay and loved going to concerts, dining out and traveling, especially to Hawaii, Jamaica, and Mexico.
In 1974, Jeff began working for Bay Shipbuilding Co. and later Peterson Builders Incorporated (PBI). In 1993, Jeff returned to school at NWTC and earned a degree in Mechanical Design. After graduation he worked at TTX and Hatco, both in Sturgeon Bay.
For many years Jeff was an enthusiastic member of the Animals, a city league softball team. He volunteered for the Sturgeon Bay Clippers football team, working the chains while watching his nephews play.
Jeff passionately loved his music, dancing and his Green Bay Packers, never missing a game.
Jeff will be missed by Judy, his wife of 41 years, son, Jason Fish (Jennifer Bacon); and daughter, Sarah Clark (Thaddeus Hill). They survive him along with sisters-in-law, Barb Fish, Bev (Steve) Eckert; and brothers-in-law, Larry Fish, Steve (Brenda) Fish, and Mike (Judy) Fish; many nieces and nephews; cousins; and special friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law, Ruth and Bernie Fish; and brother-in-law, Wayne Fish.
His life will be honored with a memorial service held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Huehns Funeral Home in Sturgeon Bay with Visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.
The family would like to thank Dr. Richard Hogan of Door County Medical Center Clinic, the staff at Green Bay Oncology, and Dr. Shah at Froedtert Hospital for their compassionate care.
Jeff will forever be remembered for his lifelong kindness, laughter and happy feet!
In lieu of flowers the family requests that any charitable donation be made to Door CANcer, Inc. (P.O.
