Jeffrey Franklin Crocker, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center, he was 62. Born on April 23, 1963, in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of Franklin G. Crocker and Janet Jackson Crocker.
A graduate of Boiling Springs High School, Jeff was a regular guy, embodying a personality that shone with authenticity and simplicity. He embraced life with no fluffs or frills, often finding joy in the little things that surrounded him.
Throughout his life, Jeff cultivated his love for music, particularly Southern Rock, which accompanied him until his last moments as the "Marshall Tucker Band" sang in his ear. His enthusiasm extended beyond music; he was an avid sports fan, proudly supporting the Carolina Gamecocks football team and reminiscing fondly about the days of the Oakland Raiders. Jeff also enjoyed playing pool and golf.
Jeff is survived by his devoted mother, Janet Jackson Crocker, and his siblings, sister Wanda Gordon (John) of Boiling Springs and brother Steven Crocker (Mary) of Wellford. He is also survived by his nephews, John Michael Gordon and David Gordon of Spartanburg, and Christian Crocker of Chattanooga, TN, as well as his niece, Madison Shuler (Phillip) of Sumter, SC, his great niece, Claire Elaine Shuler, and the family dog, Luke.
In addition to family, Jeff had special friends who held a significant place in his life, Randy and Donna Steadman, who were considered like family, and his dear neighbor, Peggy Renfro.
Jeff is preceded in death by his beloved father, Franklin G. Crocker; paternal grandmother Bertha Crocker; maternal grandmother Estelle Jackson, and his cherished dog, Fluffy.
A visitation to celebrate Jeff's life will be held from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, July 6, 2025, Floyds Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 SC-9, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
