Jeffrey James DeMaison, of Jacksonville, FL passed away unexpectantly on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
He was born in Meadville on October 8, 1965, a son of Daniel E. and Susan (Smith) DeMaison.
Jeff was a graduate of Saegertown High School, Erie Institute of Technology, and Clarion University.
A well-known paramedic in Crawford Co., Jeff managed Eastern Ambulance Service & Medic One Ambulance Service; but he spent most of his career as a paramedic and supervisor with Meadville Area Ambulance Service. As a volunteer, Jeff taught numerous EMS courses and responded to Fire and Emergency calls with several volunteer companies in the county.
He recently relocated to Florida and currently works as a TSA officer with Homeland Security stationed at Jacksonville Airport.
Jeff is survived by his mother, Susan DeMaison, a brother, Kevin Demaison, a sister, Sheryl (Bob) Paiani along with three nephews, Alexander Demaison, Giovanni Paiani, and Nicolo Paiani.
He was preceded in death by his father Daniel DeMaison, maternal grandparents Fred and Isabelle Smith, and his paternal grandparents Ken and Helen DeMaison.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 581 CHESTNUT ST. MEADVILLE.
